Don't Conform!

In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus said there is a wide and broad road that leads to destruction, and that, sadly, many people take that route. He went on to described a narrow gate that leads to life and then made this startling statement, "only few find it."   

Our obsession with fitting in and gaining the approval of the masses or the "main stream" could be fatal! As followers of Jesus, if our journey looks very similar to everyone else's, we should probably stop and rethink where we're going and who we're following.  

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Rom. 12:2
